The Copper Country’s women care about their community. Next week, the Copper Country 100 Women Who Care group hosts its first quarterly meeting of 2026.
Four times a year, the 100 Women Who Care group comes together to select a local nonprofit organization to support with a $100 award. The local chapter is part of a growing group across the nation that seeks to bring women in communities together to create powerful collective impacts.
In 2025, the Copper Country chapter supported Omega House, 31 Backpacks and UP Wildlife Rehabilitation with more than $18,000 to support the organizations’ missions.
The group will meet next Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Lodge Luxury Suites in Hancock. Those interested in registering for the meeting or wanting to register as a new member of the Copper Country 100 Women Who Care can find more details online.
