Michigan Technological University announced late last week that Sri Beldona will serve as the new Dean of the College of Business beginning this summer.
The selection follows a nationwide search by the university that narrowed the field to three candidates. Beldona comes to Houghton from East Texas A&M University – Dallas.
Michigan Tech Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Andrew Storer said Beldona will draw upon his experience guiding high-impact academic programs and collaborating with the business and philanthropic community to elevate the College of Business.
Beldona earned his doctorate in business administration and a master’s degree in international business from Temple University. He also holds degrees from Pune University in India and Gulbarga University in India.
