Copper Shores Community Health Foundation returns as the 2026 Bridgefest presenting sponsor.
Bridgefest this summer brings excitement to the Keweenaw Peninsula to celebrate the Portage Lake Lift Bridge connecting communities in Houghton and Hancock. This year’s festival moves to June 11 through 14, one week earlier than in many years past.
Chamber of Commerce Manager Katie Schlief says planning for the festival has started to speed up as the clock winds down to an unforgettable weekend. She adds it’s exciting to bring back Copper Shores as the festival’s presenting sponsor, witnessing the ways the foundation engages the Copper Country throughout the year.
Donor Relations Director Michael Babcock says Copper Shores believes in strong communities built when people come together to celebrate, connect and care, and returning to sponsor Bridgefest promotes joy, wellness and community pride.
As the Bridgefest organizing committee finalizes details for activities, the Chamber of Commerce will organize sponsors for additional fun. Businesses and organizations that want to support Bridgefest should contact Chamber Manager Katie Schlief to learn more about sponsorship opportunities.
