The Keweenaw Community Foundation, a local nonprofit group with an aim of helping projects that intend on helping the community in lasting, meaningful ways obtain funding, has announced “Keweenaw Gives”, its annual fundraising event. Rebranded from Keweenaw Gold, Keweenaw Gives is to be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts on Michigan Tech’s Campus and will gather contributions that will be put toward worthy causes.
The event will begin with a cocktail hour and dinner, a short program highlighting the KCF’s work and impact, live music, and a silent auction. Tickets will be available online and in addition, the Foundation is currently seeking sponsorships for the evening to help hold the celebration as well as silent auction prize donors.
The intent of Keweenaw Gives is to highlight the fact that, like a quilt made of several pieces of cloth, our community comes together to support the causes we care about and assist our own to do better.
