The Gogebic Range Trail Authority and AJ’s Lodge are planning the fourth annual Yooper Poker Run for Feb. 13, 2027.
The event celebrates small towns, snowmobiling, tourism, and community across the Upper Peninsula. More than 50 businesses are participating, and the poker run’s network will expand to stretch from Ironwood to Copper Harbor.
Congressman Jack Bergman and State Rep. Greg Markkanen have endorsed the event.
The Yooper Poker Run was created to recognize the vital role snowmobiling clubs play in the region’s winter economy. Each stop along the route supports local businesses and highlights the communities that make the Upper Peninsula a destination during the winter months.
