The Keweenaw Community Foundation plans to disperse $68,000 of grant funds in spring 2026.
On Sunday, the Keweenaw Community Foundation will open the grant portal for the spring grant cycle. This year’s grants will support several causes with up to $68,000 of support.
The four grant programs available in the spring include the Community Impact Fund that supports new and established programs in the Copper Country. The CLK Youth Hockey Fund will provide up to $1,000 for an award.
The Great Start Early Childhood Fund will make $3,000 available for projects enhancing childcare and education in Baraga, Houghton and Keweenaw counties. The Kellogg Endowment Fund will provide $14,000 to support new and existing youth programs in the region.
The Foundation will need final grant applications by April 10.
To support nonprofits and community organizations considering applying for a spring cycle grant, the foundation will host a Grant Open House on March 9.
