As we start the week, gasoline prices in Michigan are more than a dime higher than they were last Monday.
AAA’s ongoing survey pegs this morning’s average for a gallon of unleaded regular at $4.84, compared to $4.73 a week ago, $3.87 a month ago, and $3.19 a year ago.
The Western Upper Peninsula is faring better than most of the rest of the state. Houghton County’s average is at $4.58 per gallon. Baraga County is at $4.63, Keweenaw County is at $4.70, and Ontonagon County is at $4.74.
