The Tigers dropped their third straight game last night, 2-1 to the Astros. Troy Melton suffered the tough loss on the mound, retiring the first 16 batters he faced before allowing a solo home run by Taylor Trammell. Detroit’s only run came on a ninth-inning homer by Dillon Dingler.
The Tigers host the Astros again tonight. Keider Montero will start against Spencer Arrighetti. Coverage will begin at 6:15 on 99.3 The Lift.
