The community hosts the 65th annual Eagle Harbor Art Fair this weekend on the shores of Lake Superior. The Saturday and Sunday fair invites artists from the local area and brings guests from across the region to display artwork.
Pieces at the fair include paintings, functional vases and ceramic art, woodcarvings showing intricate handiwork and much more.
Visit Keweenaw Executive Director Brad Barnett said the fair has become a signature Keweenaw Peninsula tradition that some people plan trips around.
The Copper Country Associated Arts organizes the fair each year. The fair opens Saturday at 10 a.m. and Sunday at noon. The art fair will set up on the grounds at the St Peter’s by the Sea Church in Eagle Harbor.
