Kaleidoscope, a nontraditional education provider with locations in Hancock and L’Anse, aims to enrich students’ education with afterschool programs during the academic year that feature experiences and play-time that would not be found in a traditional classroom.
After focusing on day camps and events during the summer season, Kaleidoscope is now turning their attention toward their afterschool programs that they offer to local students, both conventional and homeschooled. These programs are offered for students aged 8 and up and are available in both virtual and in-person options.
Hancock Coordinator for Kaleidoscope Sheri Werner explains that the programs also allow like-minded parents to share a social gathering with each other, which can also be valuable. “As a mom, it’s just as important for you sometimes to get out and have that social access”
The Kaleidoscope afterschool programs start on Sep. 14. Those who are interested may find more information on the Kaleidoscope website here.
